BEAUTY EDIT

I've been meaning to make a post about make-up so I could share with you guys some make-up tips and products that I absolutely adore, and here it is, finally! I know it's quite a handful (that's not even half of what I have-- dear lord I need to stop myself... oh well) but I've handpicked my favorites and here they are--
This has got to be the best blush/contour/highlighter combo I've ever tried, you can pile on as much as you want on your face and not look like a hoochie. Just a sassy girl with really nice cheekbones and a really nice glow.
I think I've found my foundation soulmate with this one, and I thought i'd pile it with my collection of foundations but I've been using it everyday! It's the perfect mix of light and dewy plus it has that really pleasant smell every time I apply it. It's also perfect for sensitive skin and covers up really well.
I've tried so many mascara's over the years and everytime I'm on a tight budget, (which is almost everytime too) this is my go-to mascara. get. one. now.
Do I even need to say why?
Okay fine. When choosing lipstick colors, these 3 are the basic things any classy girl should have in her make up bag...something nude, a classy red, and a wild purple for that additional drama. I'm not a pink shade lipstick girl, so unless you are, then maybe you can add that on your list too. ;)
I use this to make my brows neater after applying my brow pencil and I went with this shade since it suits my skin color. Brow Tip: using a thin U-shaped brush, dab concealer under your eyebrows ( while drawing the shape you want to form) and blend to give off that super neat line.
You can never really go wrong with Laura Mercier. I love this, and I'll be using this forever. (If I earn enough money that is.)

CHARLOTTE

(Mango top and bag/ Forever21 trousers/ Charlotte Olympia heels/ Fossil Watch/ Project Kat bracelet)

I can't describe the exact feeling I had as soon as I got ahold of these mascot low-heeled shoes from Charlotte Olympia, all i knew was that I was dancing around--probably like a leprechaun that found his pot of gold. That would be the best description I could think of. No. I probably did look like that while I was dancing.(hahahaha! lololol, rofl, lmao, trololol) I wore it as soon as I got it the next day and I paired it with whites of course to make the shoes stand out. It was as comfortable as I expected it to be and I really do agree with the saying that good shoes take you to good places. I know I may have spent quite a few bucks on these babes, but when it comes to shoes, and bags, and sunglasses, it's better to invest on these things, and then you can start looking for affordable tops and bottoms to pair it with and still pull off a very classy look. I used to not care about shoes this much but there's just something about opening a shoebox from Charlotte Olympia that makes it all so worth it...

CLASSIC

(Asos Sandals/ H&M Maxi Skirt/ Zara Top/ Mango Bag/ Mac Lipstick)

I swear I have this slight obsession in my mind of being super white so I could just wear lots of blacks and pair them with whites and look smashing with red lipstick on--but unless I abuse whitening soaps and probably not see the sun for a few years, then I should be fine with this.
There's always something so classy about the plainness of the lack of color and something about black and white combinations that will forever be trendy and classic. It just depends on your daily mood I guess and probably the weather too.I for one decided to pair this maxi with a fitted and neat tank top and white and gold sandals. It now depends on you to touch it up with your favorite accessories or your go-to earrings to look really made up.
Look really made up? yes, I just said that. Besides, I find nothing wrong in being slightly "overaccessorized" or overdressed, but when one is underdressed? Oh Dear.
Right?? Right.

FLORENCE

(Asos Jumpsuit and Heels/Rayban Sunnies/ Forever21 stack rings)

Photography by : Ashley John Yee

This suit is probably what I would wear to work everyday If I only had to choose one. It's such a statement piece all by itself plus the added fact that it's super sexy since it's made of mesh so it shows off the back and sides completely but totally serious at the front.
You're also probably wondering why I named this post the way I did. It's probably because I'm reminded by Florence whenever I think of scooters and scarves and I've been wanting to go to Europe so bad but circumstances haven't permitted to--perhaps thats why my emotions have been channeling the Italian gods and I hypnotically chose this vibe for my outfit.
I have never been this hungry to just pack my bags and go but for people like me, things like responsibility and family had to come first... for now.
So here you go, with this post.
A florence-inspired outfit for my ever hopeful and longing heart.
Have an inspiring day, lovelies.

BOHO

Zara Palazzo pants / Bershka cropped top/ Forever 21 necklace/ /Kultura hat

With the heat on full blast and with the sun on maximum brightness mode, I wanted to share with you all my take on dressing up for this weather without showing too much skin but not completely covered up and sweating either.

After weeks of planning to collaborate, staring at blank air spaces and thinking of venues to shoot in Bacolod, Ashley and I finally got the chance to shoot for his portfolio and for my summer blog post, which you are now reading. We found this little spot that looks like an entrance to a jungle or a forest and thought that this would be an ideal place to match the bohemian outfit and make it pop.

We didn't take too long and went right away to shoot other outfits (up soon on my blog) so we could seize the day and hopefully bring you guys better pictures, thanks to Ashley. :)

BLUSH

Spent this afternoon roaming around and looking for cheerful places that contrasted my light outfit and reflected the stones that accented it. Loving pastels so much more now, and thinking that I'd want these kinds of clothes forever but maybe not if I think about it very carefully. Paired this white embellished Zara number with  light blue jeans from H&M and a pastel pink bag with stones from Prada.
Wine colored lips to blend with the colors of the stones in my top and light blue mid-heel sandals to top off the look. Pastels are the perfect summer #ootd that can give a very light look yet a serious dose of fashion.

SUNDAY BLUES

Always daydreaming about going to London, and finally found a place that feels like it.
Quite happy that I finally got to wear this blue dress that I find very elegant yet sexy at the same time. I think I should start collecting classier dresses. I was lucky to find this ASOS dress online at such a cheap price. I also got my shoes on sale at Stradivarius and it is so comfortable to wear, unlike other heels that make me wonder how the hell I can walk and look normal at the same time.
I was shot by my very talented friend Anya, who was so helpful. She's the kind of photographer that I always want to work with, since she's so good at capturing the light, (and tells me to tuck in my tummy).
The sun was shining bright and the wind was super strong, so it was kind of the perfect setting for a shoot and two friends just enjoying whatever the city had to offer for that  day. I really had a good day today, except for the fact that the weekend's almost over...
