LIGHTED PATTERNS

(Aztec Kimono and Bikini from Forever21/ Bershka Shorts)

I was always lazy to dress up whenever I would go to the pool or the beach and I always thought that a tank top and shorts would do it. I just recently discovered and realized the power of the kimono--so easy to wear yet so stylish. It's so much better than wearing a tank top which you have to take off completely and wear again every time you decide that you want to sunbathe or take another dip. With kimonos, you can easily just slip them on and off and even play around with it.
On a completely different note, I thought this tribal pattern really matched the fiery torches and the pool lights which makes me want to think twice about whether my clothes and the places I will go to will somewhat match.
Maybe I'm totally just being a little weird or maybe I just need another dip in the pool to clear my mind and stop thinking about crazy things..

VIBE

(River Island Romper and clutch/ Nasty Gal Crochet Top/Aldo Wayfarers/Wet seal sandals)
Feeling vibrant with this slip on romper from River island and so happy that I don't have to put much effort in wearing it. If there's one thing I absolutely love doing for myself when it comes to choosing what to wear, its putting on loose,no fuss outfits. This one's perfect for hot and humid mornings and for days when you seem like you have to move around a lot and go to a lot of places. Love how this felt so comfortable and full of good vibes--as though summer never left.

BOHO

Zara Palazzo pants / Bershka cropped top/ Forever 21 necklace/ /Kultura hat

With the heat on full blast and with the sun on maximum brightness mode, I wanted to share with you all my take on dressing up for this weather without showing too much skin but not completely covered up and sweating either.

After weeks of planning to collaborate, staring at blank air spaces and thinking of venues to shoot in Bacolod, Ashley and I finally got the chance to shoot for his portfolio and for my summer blog post, which you are now reading. We found this little spot that looks like an entrance to a jungle or a forest and thought that this would be an ideal place to match the bohemian outfit and make it pop.

We didn't take too long and went right away to shoot other outfits (up soon on my blog) so we could seize the day and hopefully bring you guys better pictures, thanks to Ashley. :)
