(Choies Pearl Ring and Bracelet/ Mango Top from Zalora)

Making the most of the ethereal sunlight shining from my windows and getting in the mood for whites that I decided to highlight these accessories I got from Choies.I really love their site. I'm sure if you've been following me,you can tell by now. If you want to stay updated with the latest fashion trends yet not burn a hole in your pocket, then this is the site for you. I know pearls are everywhere but I love Choies' modern take on this timeless beauty.Pearls are always classic and I love how they can make your outfit stand out and I think if there's one accessory you need to buy as of the moment then this should be it. If only life was as elegant and simple as a pearl...

ETHEREAL

Here's part 2 of my collaboration with Fetish and all I could say when I saw the pictures was I had a mini heart-attack thanks to Lois and her magic. I was so in love with the pictures that I was probably on my phone for hours and nobody could really talk to me properly...so sorry about that!
For this set, we had to climb up the second floor of the Ruins and if you've ever been there, you'll know that there really wasn't much of a "floor", so this took more effort that the usual, but it didn't really matter since we were able to capture the majesty of the beautiful disaster that is the Ruins, complete with the sunset's ethereal glow and the winds gentle whispers.
I felt like a modern princess wearing this romantic all white ensemble ready to conquer the world-- or the hacienda maybe? For starters?
Anyway,I hope you all love it as much as I do! A special thank you to Toni, Lois, Clarissa, Ashley and the team for making this all a dream!

With Love,
TL

WANDER

I'm so excited to finally be seeing and posting these pictures since I know Ashley is just one hell of a photographer. I feel so lucky to have him as a friend as we just share the same passion for art and practically have the same aesthetic. We always keep talking about how to make our brand (his: AJY Photo and mine: TiaLacson Blog) better and how to make our instagram feed neater, and nicer and overall just how to get better pictures.
That aside, I also finally got my "dream dress" from CHOIES(you guys are awesome) and I knew I needed to give the dress justice so I worked with Ashley on this one. I love how it's so sexy yet so elegant and how it's a short dress and a maxi dress/ gown at the same time.
Just like the saying that goes "Not all who wander are lost"-- we had a pretty hard time looking for locations to shoot this one but finally found the place that perfectly contrasted and highlighted the dress' lovely details and I guess life's like that too. You might feel like you're not headed where you're supposed to be but somehow you find yourself stumbling upon something or some place or someone and making something beautiful out of it.
Hope you all find that little piece of beauty you've been searching for!
With Love,
TL

EYES ON YOU

(CHOIES Dress/ Rebecca Minkoff heels/ Aldo Wayfarers/ Louis Vuitton Minilyn Bag)
Whenever I think about these eyes on the dress or any other accessory with eyes on them, it serves as a reminder for me to always put in that little effort in looking a little more than ordinary, a.k.a. looking your best everyday. It's probably because you can never control what people think about you when they first see you but you can always give them something to look at--make them do a double take when you're well dressed and tidied up.

I couldn't wait to wear this dress from CHOIES (a fabulous site I regretted not discovering earlier) on a bright and sunny day at the fort and it just went perfectly with one of my favorite shoes. I may be wearing all sorts of blue but I've got ice cream and a sunny disposition and I guess that's all I'm gonna need for a good day ahead.

xx,
TL

ROUGE

(Forever 21 top,skirt and blazer/ Zara Heels/ Statement Necklace from Mom :P)

I don't know why I keep re-using this red midi skirt when I know that I need more of these in my life but by the time I find another good one, I'll probably be too broke to buy it. Also, I've been trying to lighten myself and my work life up through these outfits that somehow make me think I love working and sitting around in a cubicle the whole day.  Maybe i'll just keep distracting myself with the fact that these zippers on my heels are so cool and I should probably stop babbling and zip my mouth too in 3..2..1...

MARCO

(Forever 21 blazer,earrings and Pants/ Suite Blanco Top/ Aldo sandals/ Thrifted necklace)

I spent this past week  in Davao and slowly fell in love with the city and the people I met. We went there to work so we could only shoot at the Hotel that we stayed in. We successfully maximized the use of amenities so we were very pleased that we found time to exercise and swim and order room service.  We stayed in Marco Polo since the venue for the seminars were there and I was so happy since it was bath tub night and buffet breakfast mornings everyday. I think I could get used to this life.
And I think this won't be the last time I'm going to Davao since I haven't explored half of what the place has to offer!

RETAIL THERAPY

(Acne Tillie Leather Sandals/ Mango Croc Bag and Rebecca Minkoff Heels get them here)

I think I may have found the perfect pair of shoes from Acne. I literally danced around like a kid when I saw the Net-A-Porter package in my bed. I immediately tried them on and oh my, do I now understand how people can walk around in heels the whole day. The pale blue leather and black soles were so soft I knew I could wear them the whole day. It was so light, I felt closer to shoe heaven and I know I will always be browsing Net-A-Porter every time I find a chair to sit on. Not only do they have such a beautiful variety of designer items, they also deliver your package magically. I seriously don't get how my package arrived in two days. It's crazy and I love it!!

I was so happy to finally own a small black classic bag from Mango that could fit my essentials--a wallet, phone and make-up and I could easily picture wearing them with a white cami and a black maxi. I may also have obsessed a bit on these Rebecca Minkoff heels as soon as I saw it was on sale at Zalora. I tried to press the purchase button about three times before finally deciding that I'm getting them or else I couldn't sleep well.

Now I know I'm going to have the sweetest of dreams.
