Today, I decided to go for a more mature look by wearing this fit and flare skirt with a dirty white blouse while adding young and fun details like these bright and colorful accessories that I absolutely adore. The thing I love the most about these bracelets are the fact that they can make any plain outfit look more daring and outgoing just by stacking them. I went for a classy (yet you can totally talk to me because I'm a fun person) look and I hope it was achieved.

What does it mean to be free? For me, it’s being able to do what you love, and having the freedom to express yourself.  It means not having to think of all the negatives and just doing what you’ve been dreaming of for the longest time for the sake of fulfilling your dreams and having no regrets in the future.  Freedom is knowing that you’re on the right track—that silvery glistening road that leads to your own bliss.

It’s being able to tell someone that you love them and you miss them without having second thoughts. It’s being able to go where you wish, and travel your hearts desire. Its being able to draw and paint and show people who you are and what you feel. It’s dressing the way you want and not being swayed by the influence of others.

What is freedom for you?

Currently transported to the corporate world but desperately hanging on to the fleeting summer where the world consists of sailing, and shores and salty air—thus this outfit. I think I’m partly stressing out now—thinking of ways to give myself a break or probably just really listening to myself and follow the voice that says drop everything and see the world.

 I will always think of the summer breeze whenever I see this number from SuiteBlanco and I think I will always hold on to summer and embrace the freedom of the season as long as I’m stuck in this dreary concrete jungle.

I know I keep babbling about summer and adventures and travelling but for now, I guess we just have to work with what we’ve got and make the best out of it.

DIVIDED

(Forever 21 cropped top/ H&M Skater skirt and gold chain necklace/ Asos heels/ Fossil watch)

Today, I was lucky enough to find this empty space facing a parking lot to shoot and play with shadows that contrasted this all white outfit.I felt so happy that people didn't look at me weirdly or howled or threw side comments like when I shoot outside.
 It's like having the freedom to do just whatever you want to give justice to the pictures and the clothes.

You can't go wrong with wearing this white cotton cropped top since you can pair it with almost anything high-waisted like shorts, jeans, maxi skirts and you can range from sporty, to chic just whenever you feel like it. I went for a little sporty take by pairing it with this Divided skater skirt and paired it with these trusty white heels from Asos. There's something about all white outfits that just seem so delicate yet so fun. The look is unconventional but just right for this season. It makes you look pure, and bold and cool at the same time. I'd love to play with all white outfits a little more and perhaps (hopefully) you'll be seeing more of these kinds up on my blog soon. 

 I added just a few gold accents and the look is good to go.

Decided to take a few snapshots of this casual look I wore to a day out at the mall and thinking that maybe, I really can't escape wearing black and white even though I want to dress more vibrantly. Is it because white is just so clean and black is just pure classy and sexy?

PINK LEATHER

I Breezed through today wearing this pale pink leather skirt and mint green flats perhaps signaling that I'm craving for mint strawberry gelato since it feels like a hot pot here in the Philippines. Surprisingly, this combo didn't make me sweat like a pig, as the white blouse was breezy and the pink skirt was surprisingly blowing itself away a little. I was lucky enough to find this necklace from my mom that matched my skirt and this bag that could fit everything I needed.

Writing this post but all I can think about is how much I'd love to go to the beach and sip on a mojito.

A subtle sheer mesh lining on my white midi-skirt and a black cropped top with an "X" at the back provided the necessary lines I was looking for in today's outfit. Hints of gold to add a little bit of glitter to this black and white number as the yellow painted walls in Venice Piazza nodded in agreement. A little romance, a little flirty, and a bit edgy, I was happy a girl around town, basking in the sunshine and taking pictures with palm trees like someone who can't wait to hit the beach.

CHERISH

 

It's quite coincidental that my nude lipstick from MAC is called "Cherish" since today I've learned a huge lesson that will always stay with me for the rest of my life. I've learned that today we may seem so complacent and contented with what we have that we forget to cherish the moment completely. Something so valuable was taken away from me and I can't do anything about it. I would give anything to try to get it back and I'm fighting for it right now. The saying goes "You don't get the same moment in life twice" and it hasn't been more true. Sometimes we just tend to forget because everything's going so well and we didn't think it could be taken away in a day, a minute or even a second from now.

I just want to say that right now, take a moment to breathe everything in and thank the Lord for this moment.

Moving on though..
