BOHO

Zara Palazzo pants / Bershka cropped top/ Forever 21 necklace/ /Kultura hat

With the heat on full blast and with the sun on maximum brightness mode, I wanted to share with you all my take on dressing up for this weather without showing too much skin but not completely covered up and sweating either.

After weeks of planning to collaborate, staring at blank air spaces and thinking of venues to shoot in Bacolod, Ashley and I finally got the chance to shoot for his portfolio and for my summer blog post, which you are now reading. We found this little spot that looks like an entrance to a jungle or a forest and thought that this would be an ideal place to match the bohemian outfit and make it pop.

We didn't take too long and went right away to shoot other outfits (up soon on my blog) so we could seize the day and hopefully bring you guys better pictures, thanks to Ashley. :)

NAUGHTYCAL

I have never been attracted to anything striped thinking that It would just make me look wider and the design seemed so unappealing on the racks, but as soon as I bought it and started to wear it, I instantly fell in love at its versatility coupled with hints of classy.
The night before I shoot an outfit, my mind somehow always wanders around the outfits I could wear the next day and this "naughty"-cal outfit made it to the top of the list and made me doze off right away with utmost peace.
I added pearls to make the outfit pop and to complement the stripes and the nude heels.
I think I'm ready to sail away now.
What do you think?

FOREVER

(Photos by Ashley John Yee)

With the summer comes love, romance and promises of forever, and each have stories that they might remember, hide away or treasure. Looking at this maxi dress and its details just remind me of that. How breezy it can be, yet full of romantic details like the red and gold details that tell of passion, and light and royalty.

I was lucky enough to find this online at www.forever21.com and I could not believe my eyes after shopping from river island and asos, at how cheap forever 21 got. (not saying I wont shop at river island and asos anymore though since they have such great and irresistible items too)
Meanwhile, I wore it with my trusty grendha sandals since wearing heels would be pointless especially in the city I'm in where people don't wear heels even on nights out. I liked it this way though.

A little casual, a little romantic, and full of love.
