Today's all about daisies and here's my take on dressing with a dreamy, light and carefree vibe.

I'd have to say that walks in the park would somehow be perfect for these kinds of days although I'd much rather be at the beach or be in a wide open field but that sounds itchy so I decided to take the opportunity to stroll and shoot here. I love how Marc Jacobs and their new version of Daisy came up with the idea of creating a dream capsule that you can personalize and get back in a years time! Something about pretty flowers-- peonies, roses, tulips and sunflowers have been circling my mind all day that this outfit reminds me of nothing more but flowers. I guess we don't always have to look at other people's style and magazines for fashion inspiration. It can merely come from a simple flower, winking at you whilst radiating its best bloom. 

ZALORA

Since I've been ordering online from brands outside of the Philippines, and it usually takes at least 2 weeks for me to get my package, I decided to give www.zalora.ph a try and see how fast I would receive my clothes. I was so happy that after 3 days, I got my package right away and It even came with free Nestle low-fat milk and a sachet of Downy detergent. I'd definitely keep on ordering again knowing that they have nice brands such as River Island and Mango from the website and delivery is super fast!

Meanwhile, I am in love with this striped cropped top that I can pair with almost anything ranging from maxi-skirts to palazzo pants to leggings and shorts! Any color will do to! I paired mine with leather shorts since I wanted to play with gold and brown for my shoes and accessories.

FOREVER

With the summer comes love, romance and promises of forever, and each have stories that they might remember, hide away or treasure. Looking at this maxi dress and its details just remind me of that. How breezy it can be, yet full of romantic details like the red and gold details that tell of passion, and light and royalty. 

I was lucky enough to find this online at www.forever21.com and I could not believe my eyes after shopping from river island and asos, at how cheap forever 21 got. (not saying I wont shop at river island and asos anymore though since they have such great and irresistible items too)

Meanwhile, I wore it with my trusty grendha sandals since wearing heels would be pointless especially in the city I'm in where people don't wear heels even on nights out. I liked it this way though.

A subtle sheer mesh lining on my white midi-skirt and a black cropped top with an "X" at the back provided the necessary lines I was looking for in today's outfit. Hints of gold to add a little bit of glitter to this black and white number as the yellow painted walls in Venice Piazza nodded in agreement. A little romance, a little flirty, and a bit edgy, I was happy a girl around town, basking in the sunshine and taking pictures with palm trees like someone who can't wait to hit the beach.

CHERISH

 

It's quite coincidental that my nude lipstick from MAC is called "Cherish" since today I've learned a huge lesson that will always stay with me for the rest of my life. I've learned that today we may seem so complacent and contented with what we have that we forget to cherish the moment completely. Something so valuable was taken away from me and I can't do anything about it. I would give anything to try to get it back and I'm fighting for it right now. The saying goes "You don't get the same moment in life twice" and it hasn't been more true. Sometimes we just tend to forget because everything's going so well and we didn't think it could be taken away in a day, a minute or even a second from now.

I just want to say that right now, take a moment to breathe everything in and thank the Lord for this moment.
